Registration is now open for the 2023 Kids Awesome Business Fair! This year’s event is open to home educated children in central Wisconsin grades PreK – 12th grade. Children from any homeschool co-op (WAHE, CHAT, Faith Fellowship, etc.) or homeschool method (traditional, Rural Virtual Academy, Bridges, etc.) are invited to apply.

Application Process and Important Deadlines

Please signup online (using the form below) and postal mail your participation fee to Eric Lewerenz, 3507 Pat Street, Weston, WI 54476. The $10 entry fee for each school-aged child and a $3 entry fee for each pre-school child should be mailed after submitting the online form. This fee MUST have been earned through the child’s business OR borrowed from an investor (parent/assisting adult) with the expectation that it will be repaid in a timely manner. Just like the real world! (Checks should be make out to “Kids Awesome Biz”.) We will limit the number of businesses in specific categories (there won’t be 3 lemonade stands) so be sure to get your application in as soon as possible to secure your idea.

Final Application deadline: February 24, 2023, 5pm – Notification of Acceptance for Final Application deadline: March 4, 2023, 5pm

Please note: As of 2/20/23 we have enough businesses selling bread and slime. We can only allow 2 of the same types of businesses in the fair to allow for some competition but not much repetition. So! If you were thinking of doing one of those types of businesses, please consider another option.
